Contemporary African Covers


Recently, The Guardian ran a list of a what they considered the '10 best contemporary African books.' How you can narrow the work of writers from a continent that spans almost 30,3 million km² and encompasses 57 separate nations, is a bit of a mystery to me. However, anything that raises the profile of works that might otherwise go unnoticed in the Western literary world, can only be a good thing. And some of the covers are super sick. Here's a few of my favourites.
