Florence Boyd Beautifies Atwood

I don't know about you, but I am not a fan of Margaret Atwood's work. I have no problem with her ideas and interests. I am totally down with post-apocolyptic evangelical sex slaves in red dresses. But her prose I always find boring, tedious and kinda clunky, as though it could do with a more stringent edit.

The contents aside, these recent covers designed by illustrator Florence Boyd are absolutely gorgeous. They make me want to buy the books and just leave them strewn around on coffee tables to instigate genial conversation with guests.

As ever, I discovered these on one of my favourite visual blogs, Caustic Cover Critic, which you should totally check out. A WARNING THOUGH: much like Ted Talks, youtube videos of baby cats, or porn, it's easy to get stuck in a cycle until your whole morning is gone. Enjoy.
