I have just rediscovered CocoRosie with their latest album, Grey Oceans. It is instantly my favorite of their albums, blending their unique, ethereal and essentially very stripped down sound with a more melodic, listenable quality than the work on The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn. Don't get me wrong, I love that too, as well as Noah's Ark but I feel this latest collection is more cohesive and in many ways more refined. Although, does anyone else get a lesbian/incest vibe off them at all?
